On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me a whole bunch of pointy headed deers. That’s right it’s the reindeers and we all know Santa would be nothing without the help of Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph. Yes I did google their names, don’t judge me.
What you’ll need/what I used: L-R: Sally Hansen Nailgrowth Miracle (used as basecoat and strengthener), Seche Vite Topcoat, Barry M 66 Matt White nail varnish, Fold Gold Nail varnish, Barry M 150 Red Glitter Nail Varnish, Collection 2000 Hot Looks 60 Seconds 63 Shadow Nail Varnish, black striper, toothpicks and dotting tools.
Step one: Paint your nails one thin coat of basecoat to protect the natural nails and to prevent staining.
Step two: Paint all your nails white (may require two coats.)
Step three: After the white has dried take your gold polish and paint a semi-circle at the tip of your nail.
Step four: Then drawing in two longer bits either side to create the ears of your reindeer.
Step five: Take your dotting tool or toothpick dipped into white polish and dot two small white eyes.
Step six: Then once the white has dried, dot two smaller black dots on the white to create pupils. Your little reindeers can now see!
Step seven: You don’t want your poor reindeers to be without antlers now, so take your toothpick dipped into brown polish and draw in two ‘Y’ shapes for the antlers and then add in a few more strokes to create the antlers.
Step eight: Take your dotting tool or toothpick dipped into black polish and draw on all the reindeers noses except for the ring finger.
Step nine: As the ring finger is Rudolph so take your red glitter polish and draw a smaller semi-circle to create the all important red nose.
Step ten: Once all nails have completely dried finish with a fast-drying topcoat to protect your designs and prevent them from chipping.
And that’s it! That’s the third day of 12 days of Naillion. You have the cutest reindeers poking their heads out on your nails, not only that you also have a nose on your fingers so bright it’ll guide you all the way through Christmas.
